Made this little video today just to give it a try. But also because I thought it would be fun to see how a painting evolves over time. I’m calling this painting Rock Concert. As you can see many layers of paint have been applied. Its that part that I’m really loving these days: feeling free to take risks, not taking any one painting as too precious to keep and trying to find parts of a piece that I love and the parts that I don’t like. This piece I’ve struggled with. I love rocks, boulders and the landscapes that I’ve hiked across where the land is mostly covered in rock, like Moab in Utah for instance. Sigh!
